All but one of the songs on the album were recorded during a single session on April 27, 1970 between 6 PM and 0.30 AM - True Love Is Greater Than Friendship (performed by Carl Perkins) was recorded at a different session.
Reissue history for Little Fauss And Big Halsy:
1. Reissued on CD in 1999 by Bear Family Records - paired with I Walk The Line (The Soundtrack). Included were three instrumental bonus tracks recorded during the 4/27/1970 session: Movin' and Ballad Of Little Fauss And Big Halsy and the instrumental version of True Love Is Greater Than Friendship. The CD includes an annotated discography compiled by Richard Weise detaling the "I Walk The Line" and "Little Fauss And Big Halsy" recording sessions.
