Description
Reissue history for A Believer Sings The Truth:
1. Reissued on LP by Columbia/CBS in 1979 (CBS 84123). This one LP included all twenty songs from the original double LP.
2. Reissued on CD by Reader's Digest Music (A3 28990/209C) as part of their "Timeless Inspiration" set.
3. Reissued by Sony/Legacy in 2012 as part of "Bootleg Volume IV: The Soul of Truth." All twenty tracks are included, as well as five outtakes.
Outtakes:
Eleven songs and three outtakes from "A Believer Sings the Truth" were included on the 1984 Arrival Records release "I Believe" (NU 3870); the outtakes were Didn't It Rain, He Touched Me, and Way Worn Traveler.
The Sony/Legacy 2012 reissue includes outtakes: Didn't It Rain, He Touched Me, Way Worn Traveler as well as I'll Have A New Life and Truth.
