The mono LP (CL 2117) contains an alternate master for The Ballad Of The Harp Weaver. This master does not appear to have been released anywhere else, as CD and download reissues contain the same master used for the stereo LP (CS 8917).

Reissue history for The Christmas Spirit:

1. Reissued on CD by Sony Music Special Products in the 1990s (A 24082), but with new album artwork.

2. Reissued on CD by Bear Family Records in 1995 on "The Man In Black Vol. 3 - 1963-1969+" (BCD 15588). This set includes one previously unreleased outtake from "The Christmas Spirit" sessions: It Came Upon A Midnight Clear.

3. Released for download by Columbia in 2008.
