Johnny Cash (vocal, guitar); Joe Allen (electric bass); Earl Ball (keyboard); Mike Elliott (guitar - first session only); WS Holland (drums); Marty Stuart (guitar); Bob Wooton (electric guitar). HALF A MILE A DAY and BELSHAZAH were overdubbed August 31, 1982. WILDWOOD IN THE PINES was overdubbed December 29, 1982 (1st session). Marty Stuart's notes show that Cash's vocal was redone on HALF A MILE A DAY . Also at a session starting at 16:00 overdubbing of a piano and rhythm guitar on HALF A MILE A DAY and a rhythm "rockabilly" guitar was done on ONE OF THESE DAYS I’M GONNA SIT DOWN AND TALK TO PAUL . Stuart mentions Tony Brown, keyboard and vocal group The Cathedral Q .
