Martin Hawkins states the Gene Lowery Singers appear on takes 1 and 5 of STORY OF A BROKEN HEART . They are, however, very subdued. STORY OF A BROKEN HEART take 5 was overdubbed at an unknown date by the Gene Lowery Singers. A false start is included in SB-103 on YOU TELL ME . Composer credits on the original Sun releases show “Roy Orbison” while the Sun International Corporation releases show “Sam Phillips”.
