Session notes
Masters NCO 114564 through NCO 114573 are the various bits of dialogue that appear between each song on this album. A note from the House of Cash explains that the dialogue was done on July 27 and 28 also. However, Columbia decided-at a-later date the dialogue would also require master numbers. This accounts for the non-sequential numbering here and for session dated July 28, 1972. CHRISTMAS TIMES A COMIN’ and SILENT NIGHT were done by the entire Cash musical family and so designated on the album. As TALKIN' 'ROUND THE TREE and CHRISTMAS ALL YEAR are unissued it is not certain who participated on these titles.
