Context
The narrative introduction to BIG FOOT was recorded at two different sessions. The first part of the narrative is very similar to Mean As Hell and could have been recorded at the December 10, 1970 session. The second part of the narrative introduction was probably done at the same session as Big Foot. However, when BIG FOOT was included on the album Ballads of the American Indian (KH-32388) the narrative was omitted. Both masters of HE TURNED THE WATER INTO WINE were probably used as background music for the film Gospel Road even though they show as unissued.
